She was predeceased by: her parents, Donato Gandaria and Paula Salazar; the father of her children Rogelio Bermea; her son Eliazar Bermea; her grandchildren, Rogelio Bermea III and Amanda Bermea; her great grandchild Josh Uranga; and her siblings, Tomasita Alanis, Aurelio Gandaria and Ignacio Gandaria.

She is survived by: her children, Rogelio Bermea Jr. (Alicia), Belia Cavazos (Rudy) and Armando Bermea (Maria); and her siblings, Celia Gandaria Torres, Irma Gandaria Garza, Donato Gandaria and Enrique "Rico" Gandaria.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lord & I Funeral Home and Cemetery - Sullivan City (8039 US-83, Sullivan City, TX 78595). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM and at 2:30 PM.
