He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fidel Mendiola and Herlinda Garza; his children, Sylvia M. Villarreal (Dimas), Ismael Mendiola and Dalia Flores Mendoza (Adrian); his sister Julia Lerma; and his grandchild Numerous. He was also cherished by Numerous Great – Grandchildren, and 1 Great – Great - Grandchild.
