It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Estruberto Vela of Sullivan City, Texas, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Vela and Odon Vela; and his siblings, Estela Ibarra, Armando Vela, Roel Vela, Ismael Vela and Homero Vela.
He is survived by: his children, Alicia Silva (Arturo), Maria Dolores Alanis (Mario), Ana Elizondo (Arnoldo), Estruberto Vela Jr. (Maria) and Celia Vela (Luis); and his siblings, Idolinda Martinez, Guadalupe Vazquez, Elva Martinez and Elda Caballero. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current climate surrounding COVID-19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
