He was predeceased by: his father Dagoberto Sosa. He is survived by: his mother Sofia Melgoza; his wife Irasema Sosa; his children, Erica Sosa Torres (David), Miguel Sosa (Barbara) and Sergio Sosa (Francis); and his grandchildren, Ariana Lozano, Gael Torres, Evelyn Sosa, Janelle Sosa and Joselyn Galvan. He is also survived by his 9 siblings.
