He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuelita Villanueva and Marin Salinas; and his brother Santiago Salinas. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Salinas; his sons, Carlos Salinas Jr. (Dulia), David Salinas (Melissa), Bobby Salinas (Marisol) and Michael Salinas (Alexandra); and his siblings, Juan Salinas, Jose Salinas, Ruben Salinas Manuel Salinas, Francisca Salinas, Maria Salinas and Josefina Salinas. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren.
