He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Felipa Tamez and Alfonso Tamez; his wife Maria Antonia Tamez; his children, Guadalupe Arcelia Tamez, Amanda Trinidad Ramirez, Alfonso Tamez, Leticia Velez, Maria Cristina Tello, Benita Armandina Tamez and Jose Armando Tamez; and his brother Alfonso Tamez Jr.. He was also cherished by his 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
