He was predeceased by: his parent Gin Mortensen; and his brother Harold Mortensen. He is survived by: his wife Sue Mortensen; his daughters, Laura Westbrook (Mark) of Spring, TX and Julie Boilek of Sugar Land, TX; his grandchildren, Brittany Andis (Kyle) of Spring, TX and Ryan Boilek of Sugar Land, TX; his great grandchild Jack Andis; and his sisters, Martha Middlebrook (Don) and Betty Matthys (Sherman) of Wharton, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home (15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the Family Cemetery.
