He was predeceased by: his father Geroge Thomas Bunting; and his sister Judy Bunting Goodson. He is survived by: his mother Ethel Fleming Bunting; his wife Lenellen; his children, Clayton Bunting (Merideth), Travis Bunting and Laura Bunting Minks; his grandchildren, Hayden Minks, Trace Minks, Grady Bunting, Carly Bunting, Luke Shockley, Louis Caniff, Jayson, Justin and Ryan Savoie; and his siblings, Mike Bunting (Carol) and Nan Middlebrooks (Joe). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, honoring Richard's courageous 22 year journey with the disease.
