With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Martha James of Sugar Land, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Martha left this world on February 12, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Miriam Ada James and Thomas LeRoy James; and her daughter Lynn Elise Slot. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Slot Martinez (Jeff) and Patricia "Tricia" Lynn Lutz; her grandchildren, Taylor Chase Martinez (Amanda), Haley Elise Martinez, Cameron O'Neil Lutz and Collin James Lutz; her great grandchildren, Brooke Elise Martinez and Adeline Grace Martinez; her son-in-law Jeff Martinez; and her granddaughter-in-law Amanda Martinez.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davis Greenlawn Funeral Chapels (3900 B F Terry Blvd, Rosenberg, TX 77471). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
