She was predeceased by: her stepfather Michael J. McGinnis, Sr.; her brother-in-law Bruce Hilbun (Bill Amundson); and her close friend Michell Robotham. She is survived by: her parents, Tom Welch and LeAnn Welch McGinnis; her children, Ryan Matthews and Rachel Rys; her daughter-in-law Kaleia Marsden; her stepmother Judy Welch; her sister Laura Hilbun; her niece Jenna Hilbun; and her stepsiblings, Jimmy, Monta, Joe, Danny, Courtney Henry, Michael, Cindy McGinnis, Michelle, Mark Sanderson, Melissa and Jerry Parker. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Men Lutheran Church (2011 Austin Pkwy, Sugar Land, TX 77479).
