She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Linda (Joey Tomlinson), Donna (Blaine Coffey), Roger Burks and Anita (Bradley Clarkston); her parents, Elnora Dent and Hubert Henry Vernon; and her brothers, Dick Lawayne, Chester Roy, Olen Kellen, Harvard Dale and Ted Ray. She was also cherished by her 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Colony Church of Christ (2140 First Colony Blvd, Sugar Land, TX 77479-4299). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Misson Burial Park (W I-10, San Antonio, TX 78257).
