She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dzierzanowski (Louise Dzierzanowski) and Louise Dzierzanowski (Karen); her husband Johnny Heitman; her nephews, Michael Michalec and David Dzierzanowski; and her sister-in-law Linda Dzierzanowski.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda (Steven Schleicher) of Sugar Land; and her siblings, Sylvia (J. D. Michalec) of Fairchilds and Daniel Dzierzanowski of Rosenberg. She is also survived by nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
After being retired for a while she found a position working with children 1-2 years old at the Bridge Church in Sugar Land and was there for many years until the covid shutdown.
