He was predeceased by: his parents, Zephaniah Shakespeare and Celia Shakespeare. He is survived by: his children, Keisha Shakespeare-Wilson, Tamara, Fiona and Dwight Shakespeare; his grandchildren, Kaleb Briscoe, Zachary Wilson, Konnor Briscoe, Bryson Shakespeare, Karter, Kashton and Kaisen Briscoe; his children, Claudia P. Shakespeare and Brother Winston Shakespeare (Charmaine Bigby-Shakespeare); his nieces, Dr. Tamika Young (Richard Young), Sasheena Shakespeare-Foote (Gary Foote) and Shurva Shakespeare; his nephew Shemar Shakespeare; his great-nephews, Richard Young, Jr., Keon Callaghan, Jayda Harris, Jshaun Foote and Alex Leighton; and also, Nardia Stephens, Kanisha and Winston Johnson, Jr.. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Eternal Rest Funeral Home (4610 S Wayside Dr, Houston, TX 77087). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
