He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann and Charles Kulhanek; and his siblings, Mary Shepherd and Charles "Chuck" Kulhanek. He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his daughters, Kim Kulhanek (Josh Rubin) and Sherri Brown (Michael); his grandchildren, Andrew, Justin, Abigail and Jacob Brown; and his siblings, Calvin Kulhanek and Vivian Hajdik. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
