It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anson David Phipps (Sugar Land, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Roy, Rodney, Jack, Malcom, Tommy C, Tommy K, Jim, Wally and Eddie; his parents, Ouida Elizabeth and Ernest Otto Phipps; and his son-in-law Tom Amschwand.
He is survived by: his friend Mick; his children, Missy (James) and David; his stepchildren, Christopher (Holly), Taylor and Samantha; his grandchildren, MaryAnna, Rose, Annie, Matthew and Cooper; his wife Susan; his sister Olivia; the mother of his children Shirley; and also, Lori, Paula and Jess. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
