He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosendo Alcaraz and Maria Capuchino (Herrera). He is survived by: his wife Socorro Garcia-Gomez; his children, Rosendo Alcaraz of Sudan, Texas, Yadira Rodriguez (Timmy) of Sudan, Karla Sanchez (Juan Jr.) of Sudan, Brenda Alcaraz (Jose "Chuy" Santana) and Mardia Bruner (Jordan) of Louisiana; and his grandchildren, Ruben Diego Rodriguez, Abram Leandro Rodriguez, Melodia Rae Rodriguez, Kathryn Nicole Alcaraz, Rosendo Alcaraz IV, Luke Mateo Sanchez, Sofia Bella Santana, Darian Bruner and Lyonel David Bruner. He is also survived by five sisters; two brothers.
