It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rafael Flores Torres of Sudan, Texas, who passed away on October 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariano Torres Sr. and Guadalupe Torres (Flores); and his siblings, Carmen Torres, George Torres and Miguel Torres.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Torres (Palomin) of Tahoka; his son Johnny Torres (Lucy) of New Home, Texas; and his grandchildren, Breanna Torres, Priscilla Lucero, Annjulie Johnson, Denise McCarthy, Isaac Equia and Erik Equia. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
