It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pablo Ortega of Sudan, Texas, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Guadalupe Salamanca; and his siblings, Francisca Ortega Navarette, Hortencia Ortega, Josephina Ortega and Manuel Ortega.
He is survived by: his children, Raul Ortega (Ruth) of Sudan, Rudy Ortega (Cynthia) of Littlefield, Texas, Beatrice Martinez (Nicolas) of Las Vegas, Rosalia Ortega of Fort Worth and Silvia Escobar (Omar) of Fort Worth, Texas; and his brother Guadalupe Ortega of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren; his twenty-six great-grandchildren; and his five great-great-grandchildren.
