He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl William and Margaret Black (Malone); his wife Minnie; his son Donald Wesley Black; and his siblings, Ellen Sullivan, Margaret Ruth and Richard Black.
He is survived by: his children, William Houston Black (Carolyn), Alan Lynn Black (Donna) of Littlefield, Texas, Helen Louise Driskill (David) of Amarillo, Barbara Ann Carroll (Jim) of Knox City and Dora Jean Hunter (Alfred) of Anna, Texas; and his siblings, Nancy Ashford of Bellevue, Washington and Kenneth Black of Odessa, Texas. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
