He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Edna Alice Burns (Smith); his son Brian Burns; and his granddaughter Kari Jones. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Hill; his daughter Machelle Falkenberg (Charles) of Muleshoe, Texas; his sister Patsy McCain of Littlefield, Texas; and his grandchildren, Adam Burns, Kami Jones, Brittney Bucksath, Casie Fields and Dale Jones. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren.
