He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan "Kit" Odell Carson and Beryl Carson (Nix); his stepmother Dorothy Carson; and his stepsisters, Pam Payne and Kathy Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Carson of Sudan; his daughter Angie Carson of Sudan; and his stepbrothers, Don Watson of Austin, Texas and Kerry Watson of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by many cousins, many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
