He was predeceased by: his parents, Ford Scott and Eunice "Tootie" Scott; and his brother Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Martha "Mari" Westberry (Seth), Amy Vanek (Lance) and Jason Scott (Krystyna); his grandchildren, Drew, Austin, Grayson, Lyla and Lincoln; and his sisters, Kathy Janak (Kelly) and Patti Mitchell (Larry). He is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family members, and friends.
