He was predeceased by: his parents, Clark Brooks and Esther Brooks; his siblings, Johnnie Aldis, Jannie Pustejovsky and Raymond Brooks; and his half-brother Bill Hartt.
He is survived by: his wife Antonia "Tonie" Brooks; his children, Debbie Parks (Tommy) and Howard Brooks (Sherilyn); his grandchildren, Marisa Parks, Ryan Brooks, Spencer Parks and Kristen Reininger; his great grandchildren, Ava Brooks and Allie Brooks; and his sister Esther Castellow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
