He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Louise "Dotsie" Strait (Newman) and John Joseph "Jack" Strait. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Strait of Streetman, Texas; his children, Yancey Strait, Jr. (Heather) of Prosper, Texas and Callie Loden (Jake) of Hockley, Texas; his grandchildren, Avery Strait, Arden Strait, Piper Loden and Penelope Loden; and his siblings, Mike Coyne (Leah) of Boerne, Greg Coyne (Mindy) of Hondo, Texas and Cindy Woodland (Sully) of Bandera, Texas. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
