Garrett of Carnesville, GA. and Megan Carnes (Johnnie) of Athens, GA.; his granddaughters, Sutton Stevens (Andrew), Reagan Anthony (Nathan) and Keaton Gwin (Grant); his great grandchildren, Briggs, Watts and Madden; his siblings, Wayne Garrett, Ann Sonntag and Mike Garrett; and his stepmother Evelyn McKinley Garrett.
