He was predeceased by: his parents, Emanuel Hohhertz and Alma Symmank Hohhertz; his siblings, Martin, Gilbert, Robert Hohhertz, Etta and Elna Hohhertz; and his nephew Edward Hohhertz.
He is survived by: his nieces, Carolyn, Nelda Covington and Leatrice (Fred Alston); his nephew Clayton (Paulette Sams Jr.); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gina Hughes, Stacy LeBlanc, Robbie Hohhertz, Walt Hohhertz and Kevin Specht. He is also survived by great nieces step great nephews, great great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
