With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynda Heatherington Morris (Strawn, Texas), who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. A. Heatherington and Mabel Harrison Heatherington; her husband Gene Morris; and her brother James Heatherington. She is survived by: her friend Café; her children, Robert Morris (Karen Nelson) of Sugarland, Texas, Leslie Crain of Gordon, Texas and Andrea Wimberly (Ronny) of Whitney, Texas; her brother Derwood Heatherington (Linda) of Cisco, Texas; and her grandchildren, Carolyn Dove (Brett), Kelly Crain (Kelley), India Williams (Chris), Alex Morris, Robin Benesch (Michael) and Kendell Wimberly (Morgan). She is also survived by 9 Great- grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and countless beloved friends.
