She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsey Brown and Flora Toler Brown; her husband Junior Ireland; and her siblings, Julie Laws, Clara Hilt, Hazel Caples, Leonard, Charles, Hubert "Chick", Barney, Bill, Edward "Doc" and Lee Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Ireland of Dumas, TX, Connie Kiefer (Montie) of Amarillo, TX, Tommy Ireland (Teresa) of Dumas, TX and Gale Sims (Larry) of Stratford, TX; and her siblings, Geneva Anderson (Bill) of Pocahontas, AR, Linda Stokes (Jim) of Jacksonville, FL, Marie Ringhofer of Jacksonville, FL, Ruth Phillips of Middleton, FL and Ronald Brown of Jacksonville, FL.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
