It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C Tobias Sr. (Stratford, Texas), born in Copeland, Kansas, who passed away on November 7, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Tobias and Elodia Tobias (Nevarez); his brothers, Joe Tobias and Eufemio "Tony" Tobias; and his nephews, Toby Tobias and Garrett Eslick.
He is survived by: his wife Adela; his children, Christie Santome (Jose Luis) of Cactus, John "J. J." Tobias Jr. (Suzanne) of Amarillo and Tracy Tobias (Jose Michel) of Stratford; his siblings, Manuel "Toby" Tobias (Vickie), Frances "Fran" Robbins (Bill), Emilie Jaglinski (Dennis), Josie Peacock (Mike) and Teresa Eslick (Lee); and his sister-in-law Teresa Tobias. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
