He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Longoria and Sixta Longoria; his sister Juanita L. Ortiz; and his grandsons, Steven Rene Cantu, Jr. and Edward Moreno, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Nannette Lee Sanchez (Luis), Irene Marie Longoria, Loretta Longoria, Jennifer Grace Fernandez (Sal), Felicia Medina (Luis) and Thommy Longoria; and his sisters, Carmela, Rosalinda and Rebecca. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 5:30 PM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (3107 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78212). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
