He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Hummel and Alma Hummel (Whitten); his wife Margaret Ione Hummel; his son Roy Hummel, Jr.; his brother Pete Hummel; and his daughters-in-law, Carol Hummel and Marilyn Hummel.
He is survived by: his children, Tillman Hummel, Pebble Williams (Ken), Larry Hummel (Reneé), Melody West (Terry) and John Mark Hummel. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
