He is survived by: his son Race Wade Skaggs, Sr. (Jill) of Stockdale; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Cunningham (Jason) of Stockdale and Wade Skaggs, Jr. (Denay) of Rankin; and his great grandchildren, Jillian Cunningham and Case Skaggs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
