She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Lee Kidd (Hill) and Melvin Dean Kidd; her son Charles Melvin Heye; and her sisters, Annie Lee Riley and Louise Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sally Heye Brassell of Nixon and Beverley Heye of Leesville; her granddaughter Karley Morgan Brassell of Stephenville; and her sister Bonnie Sue Nevarez of Falfurrias.
