He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Patent Alston and Mary Alston (Maguire); his wife Mussetta Alston; and his son Robert "Bobby" Alston of Seguin. He is survived by: his daughter Marsha McDaniel (Ronald McDaniel) of Gonzales; his daughter-in-law Susan Alston of Seguin; his grandson Wes Alston of Stockdale; his great grandchild Penelope Alston; his friend Union Valley; and also, Kathryn Demny of Seguin and Charles "Chuck" Demny of Seguin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
