She was predeceased by: her spouse Ted Earl Akin; and her sons, Ronald Ray Akin and Ted Smith Akin. She is survived by: her daughter Judy Childress (Larry) of Stockdale; her grandchildren, Ted Brent Akin of Stockdale, Brad S Akin (Leslie) of New Braunfels, Lance Childress (Jennifer) of San Antonio, Larianne Hastings (David) of Coppell and Luke Childress of Austin; her great grandchildren, Stephenae Akin, Ted Dawson Akin, Matthew Akin, Claire Akin, Emma Childress, Holden Childress, Canyon Hastings and Revel Hastings; and her brother Scott Jones. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
