He is survived by: his mother Kathryn Lynn Pluhar (Giltner); his wife Heidi Anne Marie Phular; his sons, Garret J. Pluhar and Zack Pluhar; his mother-in-law Cathy Steinhorst; and his siblings-in-law, Jay Hofer and Sandi Hofer.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
