He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Elnora Rose Batson (Close); his siblings, David Batson and Lynda Owens; and his brother-in-law James Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughter Kim Riggs of Stinnett; his brother Charles Batson of Dallas; his grandchildren, Skyler Riggs (Nikki) of Stinnett, Dallas Riggs of San Marcos, Kyrie Riggs of Stinnett and Jason Riggs of Stinnett; his great grandchildren, Kinnely Elliott, Calvin Riggs and Yancy Baldwin of Edmond, Oklahoma; his mother-in-law Faye Baldwin of Comanche, Oklahoma; and his siblings-in-law, Paula Baldwin of Lawton, Helen Greer Batson of Lucas, Texas, Ronny Baldwin (Shannon) of Comanche, Donnie Baldwin (Sherri) of Comanche and Larry Baldwin of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
