It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Rice of Stinnett, Texas, born in Belzoni, Mississippi, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Noel Rice Sr. and Irene Copeland Rice (Chanell); and his sisters, Patsy Degner, Joan Pruitt and Brenda Taylor.
He is survived by: his pet Sunday Morning Sunshine; his wife Robia Scott Rice; his children, Israel Rice (Caitlyn), Joella Rice, Brenda Rios (Hector) and Cynthia Trujillo; his grandchildren, Isaiah Romero, Triston Trujillo, Maurissa Trujillo, Mylee, Brycen, Scarlett Rios Candace and Hannah Rice; and his great grandchildren, Rhylan and Madden Romero.
