She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Mata and Concepcion Mata; and her grandson Michael Gutierrez. She is survived by: her daughters, Bioleta Gutierrez, Delia Sedillo, Beatrice Sedillo and Elma Sedillo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers.
