He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Haggard and Mae Roberts; his wife Laverne Carpenter; his son Gregg Haggard; his daughter-in-law Tammy Haggard; his children, Lori Lesley (Steve), Tim Haggard, Tom Haggard (Cindy) and Totsy Sturm (Richard); his grandchild Shawn Stone (Ashley); his child Shyanne Barnes (Kyon); and his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Pason William, Tillson Stone, Zoey Stone and Amelia Stevie Barnes. He was also cherished by other family members and friends.
