She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Britton Hindman and Lillian Mae Shaw (Dorety); her husband Arthur "Pete" Carrol Shaw; and her children, Eugene Carrol Shaw, Jacky Wayne Shaw, Tina Ann Irvie, Graham and Stephenville. She was also cherished by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
