He was predeceased by: his son Richard "Ricky" Hershel Houlton; and his granddaughter Brandye Sha. He is survived by: his brother Grover Houlton; his nieces, Carol Jury and Vicki Burton; his great-niece Brittany Houlton; his great-nephew Brett Houlton; his parents, Little Man (Taylor) of Granbury and Brandon Houlton; and his friend Brian Atcheson.
