He was predeceased by: his parents, John Drayton Haynes and Sarah Abbie Haynes (Gates); his siblings, Jeff Haynes, Iba Haynes Hood, Daisy Dean Haynes Mullins and Jewel Haynes Fisher; and his son Steven Ray Haynes.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Lonnie Haynes of Hudson, CO and Kathy Jean Putrite of Stephenville, TX; and his stepchildren, Kyle Graham of Colorado, Becky Graham of Stephenville, TX and Choyia Holley of Hico, TX. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
