It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Belcher Grimland of Stephenville, Texas, born in Woodson, Texas, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Keaton and Dilla Shaw Wright; her children, Wynnell Sullivan (Mike) of Blackville and John Dewey Belcher, Jr. of Stephenville, Texas; her stepdaughter Priscilla Ashe (Vic) of Stephenville, Texas; her grandchildren, Carl Sullivan of New York City, Dewey Sullivan of Blackville, Charles Sullivan (Virginia) of Honea Path, Joe Belcher of Stephenville, David Belcher of Stephenville, Austin Ashe of Stephenville and Serena Rivera of Stephenville, Texas; her siblings, Wayland Wright (Joan) of Stephenville, Texas, Betty Jo Hearn and Ruby Nell Walker of Munday, Texas; her husbands, Dewey Belcher and Yern Grimland; and her son Joe David Belcher. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Stephenville, Texas.
