She was predeceased by: her father Thomas James; her husband Joe Clyde Goodwin; her siblings, O'Donald, Shirley, Mary Geneva Goodman and Agnes Ledbetter; and her children, Johnny Goodwin and Denise Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Kimmy (Larry McGee), Tommy (Janey Goodwin) and Dell (Rebecca Goodwin).
