He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond "Tog" Carpenter and Marie Elizabeth Waugh Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Kay Mayfield of Stephenville; and his children, Lisa Carpenter Hollingsworth of Stephenville, Kirk Boen of Stephenville, Kent Carpenter (Debbie) of Hico and Jonette Sparks of Hico. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great- Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
