We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2020, at the age of 92, Myrtle Whitley Steele in Stephenville, Texas, born in Rocky Mount, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alger Turner Whitley and Mary Elizabeth Whitley (Griffin); her spouse Elmon Lee Steele; her children-in-law, Jerry Brown and Sandy Steele; her granddaughter Sherry Kay Roden; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Labadie and Brian Ashworth.
She is survived by: her sons, Al Steele of Stephenville and B. W.; her daughter-in-law MaryAnn Steele of Glen Rose; her children, Kathey Brown of Midlothian and Robert; her daughter-in-law Teresa Steele of Weatherford; her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Randy Chisholm of Proctor; and her sons, James Steele of Comanche and John Steele of Dublin. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
