She was predeceased by: her parents, David Jones and Ida Jones (Houston); her siblings, Zora Duffy, Ora Williams, Dora Taylor, Mildred Buris and Leslie Jones; and her son Douglas Steven Buris.
She is survived by: her husband Luther Buris; and her daughter Charlotte Buris Westby of Pagosa Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by three grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
