He is survived by: his children, Michelle Browder (Joey) of Bangs, Michael Weems (Darla) of Brownwood, Clayton Weems (Kesstra) of Bangs, Thomas Weems (Noni) of Brownwood and Troy Weems (Katy) of Clyde; his grandchildren, W. R., Aaron, Paige, Amber, Kimberly, Khaleesi, Lucius, Adrain, Jeramaya, Ali, Starla and Kayden; and his siblings, Janetta Blackwell and Burton Weems. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
