He is survived by: his granddaughter Madalyn; his wife Madalyn Tomasofsky Lavelle; his children, Kevin and Amy (Dirk); his grandchildren, Ashley Piwowarski (Dale), Riley Shaw, Cade Underwood and Caleigh Underwood; and his siblings, Carol Lavelle, William Lavelle (Dori) and Edward Lavelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
